The Six of Wands represents triumph, acclaim, and pride. This card is the equivalent of the Chariot of the Major Arcana. Just as the Chariot, it represents moments of victory and triumph. For the querent, the appearance of the Six of Wands is an indication that the success of achieving the goal is within reach. It is the time for the querent to receive the recognition he has long sought. It is the time when he receives all the acclaim, the honors, and the rewards that he so richly deserves. It is the time when he feels it has all been worthwhile, the time when he feels he is the best!
If the querent does not feel that success is near, he can rest assured – success is on its way, provided he has worked for it! It does not necessarily represent victory over someone else, it could be over self, over the environment, or against all odds.
A word of caution, though. Self esteem is great, feeling good about one’s achievements is part of one’s success, but the querent must ensure he is not arrogant, does not feel superior to others. Success, after all is very fickle. Here today, gone tomorrow!
